Nomi Baumgartl - Art of Seeing, had an interview during the current shooting for the program *Weeds* for the Bayerische Rundfunk ( BR ) television program last Tuesday at Wank Mountaintop in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Expected airing is on the 13th of August 2018 at 19.00 o'clock on BR.

New moon night on the Zugspitze. Nomi and Helmut were at Schneefernerkopf this weekend to photograph the announced starry sky above the peaks. Unfortunately, thick clouds came up at night and in the morning there were two hours of continuous rain.

Participation in EO4alps Meeting with ESA. In his opening speech, in which he introduced us and described us as “Competence
Center Emotion", Prof. Michael Rast repeated the significant statement: "We have the information, you have the emotion". In this
sense, we look forward to comprehensive cooperation with all scientific bodies involved in climate issues in the Alps.

Participation in the workshop for the Bavarian Climate Alliance, held by the Bavarian State Ministry for Environment and Consumer Protection.

DAV Environmental Officer Dr. Jochen Canter writes: "The workshop in Würzburg was dedicated specifically to the aspect of "Raising awareness of climate protection". Under the moderation of Dr. Helmut Theiler (head of the department Climate Policy, Climate Research at the BStMUV) there were lectures and discussions with relevant experts. Of particular interest to mountaineers is the "EagleWings - Protecting the Alps" project, which was presented by Helmut Achatz (Team Project & Alpine Management). With this multimedia-based Alpine conservation project, the internationally renowned photographer Nomi Baumgartl and her team want to "fascinate people, touch them and inspire them to develop a new awareness of the true values of nature".

Project presentation at the VAO Symposium in Grenoble, France. The presentation of Eagle Wings from the team was a great success at this international symposium. A highlight was certainly the live performance of our eagle Darshan in the conference hall in Grenoble. The leading scientists from 8 Alpine countries on the topic of climate change in the Alps were inspired and won over to the project.
